Other Comments: Great Midland Quality Product. It does what you expect it to do. It's easy to program using the well written manual. The audio quality is clear and undistorted, even when turned up very loud. FM/AM reception is average. Weather station reception is excellent. It even received the distant stations well. The Blue display can be hard to read and that's why I gave it only four stars. It's a matter of personal taste, but I do like the Mossy Oak Break Up design of the WR-301 vs. the Silver plastic box look of the WR-300. Otherwise, it's the same radio inside. I have used it for listening to FM/AM, but it's really there as an ALERT device. I keep it on 24 hours a day in WARNING mode. This is really it's primary purpose. All-in-all, I like it very much and I plan to pick up another one or two. These would make nice gifts for the right person. --HGW
