Pros: The Nikon 1 remains a kind of Rodney Dangerfield among small cameras. Despite the recent popularity of compacts with 1-inch sensors, the Nikon 1 remains a kind of niche product that is in danger of being discontinued by Nikon at any time. I really enjoy my Nikon 1 V2, as it is lightweight, versatile, laden with features, and it includes a EVF that works quite well. I do not care a whit that it "looks funny." A big advantage of the Nikon 1 over the newer DL cameras is that the lenses are interchangeable. I like the 10-30mm kit lens I purchased years ago with my J2, but I like that I can swap it out for fixed focal length lenses like the 18.5 f1.8 and now the 10mm f2.8. This is a refurbished lens in perfect working order, white to match my white V2. The lens is small, light, and sharp even wide open. It is a half stop faster than the kit lens (which is f3.5-5.6), and when mounted the camera-lens combo becomes pocketable. At the price I paid, this lens is a steal.
Cons: It would be even more attractive if it were faster than f2.8
