Other Comments: I'm converting my large collection of 35 mm color slides to digitial images on CDs to pass on to my children. This will reduce possibiity of loss from fading or other natural events and allow each child to have the complete collection for their own benefit. The ease of use of this Nikon Coolscan scanner greatly speeds this task and, with built-in adjustments, simplifies any corrections needed. The only problem in my judjment is that the device has been disontinued.
