I like the fact that the battery/memory chip compartment has a LOCK. Our last waterproof Olympus did not and this is, I suspect, how it became damaged.   My review of the Tough 3000 By SanBizWeb on May 05, 2010 Review submitted for Olympus Stylus Tough 3000 Waterproof Shockproof Freezeproof Digital Camera (Blue) (OMSTT3000BE) Pros: Underwater video, An iAuto setting, Nice Body Color, Lightweight, Price, No housing required, Underwater photography, A "P" setting Cons: Short Battery Life, Lag time in shutter speed, LCD image too bright, Lag time in zoom, Too many features Other Comments: It's built tough. The underwater capabilities without having to buy an external housing are great. The biggest issue I have with it, is the lag time with the shutter speed and the LCD screen showing everything too bright.
