Other Comments: Have only had it two weeks but am completely satisfied. It replaced an old Norelco that burned up on a bad converter I took on a European trip. Rotation speed is noticeably slower but still gives a close shave with no pulling of whiskers...probably because it's still quite sharp. Trimmer works just fine on my mustache. When the blades become dull, the slow speed may well show its negative effect. Can't testify to durability as I've not used it long enough. The Norelco it replaced was 7-8 years old and would probably still be going were it not for the converter mishap. Given the generally poor quality of most everything one buys today, I won't be surprised if it has a limited lifetime. On the other hand, no matter which brand you buy, the durability story would likely be the same. I'm happy for now - but reviews like this should probably not be written until after a year or more of ownership...
