Review submitted for Panasonic KX-TG6583T DECT 6.0 Plus Link-to-Cell Bluetooth Convergence Solution (PNKXTG6583T)
Pros: Great Design, Easy to use, Easy Controls, Durable, Good Cellular Convergence, Clear Reception
Cons:
Other Comments: I love this phone system - I've had Panasonic cordless phones for over ten years now, and the Link-to-Cell feature was what made me decide to finally upgrade. The fact that you can name each of the handsets based on teh room they are in makes this especially terrific, and the multiple ring-tones, alarms clocks, menu system and DECT 6.0 are second-to-none!

Pros: Bluetooth, Clear Reception
Cons:
Other Comments: Love the phone! Display is clear and can be customized to call it anything you want [family room, kitchen…instead of phone 1, 2, 3…] – helps if using the intercom system. Voice quality is top notch. Upgraded from an old 5.8 GHz model, calls are cleaner – no interference. What sets this apart from the other phones is the Bluetooth. I carry my cell phone in my pocket; my wife carries hers in her purse – which she usually leaves in the kitchen when she is home. Now, if she gets a cell call while at home it rings thru on every handset in the house. No more missed cell phone calls. The phone even rings with the same ringtone she has selected for each caller on her cell. The talking caller ID is an excellent feature. The phone display even tells you if the call is coming from cell 1, cell 2, or the landline while also displaying who is calling. When you call outbound you can easily select from where to place the call [landline, cell 1, cell2]. We have two IPhone 3GS. Pairing was uneventful and easy -- automatically re-pairs whenever we return home. Transfer of the cell phone contact list to the phone was also quick and easy. Could easily get rid of the landline with this system and just use the cell.

Review submitted for Panasonic KX-TG6583T DECT 6.0 Plus Link-to-Cell Bluetooth Convergence Solution (PNKXTG6583T)
Pros: Talking caller id, Does it's job very well, Clear Reception, Many optionsfunctions, Durable
Cons: Difficult Controls, Max ringer volume
Other Comments: This is a great functional product. It allowed me to replace my land line with a cell phone and still have excellent quality handsets around the house.....no difference! Comments for product improvement would be the ability to increase the ringer volume a little higher, it's on the quiet side. The most frustrating issue is the menu system for changing options. It could be better and a lot of options need to be entered as a number (no menu) in order to change the setting. Not a big deal, just need to keep the manual handy for the first month or so. Also be aware that some cell phones will not automatically connect to the Bluetooth base. This is an issue with the cell phone and not this system - I know Blackberry's can be set to "trust" the device and will always automatically connect when you come within Bluetooth range. With this technology and the cost of cell phone plans declining I do not know why anyone would get rid of their land line and go with (an expensive) VOIP line (there are cheap ones though). VOIP in my opinion is still land locking your phone. I plan to do a lot of RV travelling and with this system I can have handsets around the house and the RV - take my phone with me :)

Pros: Durable, Clear Reception, Easy Controls
Cons:
Other Comments: Bluetooth for cellphone works great, so good that I may cancel my landline. Import feature for cell phonebook does not work with my Samsung phone....the only thing that keeps it from a 5 star rating...too bad but still a great product.
