Verified Purchase Review submitted for Panasonic SC-HC30 Compact Stereo System (PNSCHC30) Pros: Cons: IPod cover covers speaker, Antennas not attached Other Comments: Very slick looking, and i have had lots of good comments about the sound. They should have made the antennas (FM and AM) part of the unit, not loose. Having separate antennas makes it nearly impossible to move it outdoors for radio listening. If you leave the ipod door open to get at it easily, it covers one speaker and effects the sound. I really like how close it sits to the wall and uses rear porting to help the bass output. Takes a bit of fiddling to get the sound at it's best, especially using the ipod EQ settings, which are hard to adjust when you keep having to open and close the ipod bay door to fully hear the change. Great for background, and we were even able to keep it playing inside in the kitchen and hear it reasonably well outdoors. Adequate power without distorting. Don't buy an adapter from ipod for a nano; they are white and look stupid. Get one from iHome. Not a big, powerful sound but the system is more than adequate for single room use. Like the bass boost feature.The "sliding door" for the ipod/CD is really cool,and the system looks like a slick piece of wall art!
