Pros: No-nonsense Design, Fast, Affordable
Cons: No autofocus
Other Comments: I shoot a full-frame camera, and in my crowded classroom a little wider reach than 50mm is welcome. Yes, it would be nice to have autofocus, but on my teacher's salary I'm not going to commit to that kind of expense. A pleasant surprise is how well the lens handles flare. I'm careful not to place my students against a sunny window, but this lens doesn't seem to mind it a bit, even wide open. I purchased this lens as an affordable classroom tool, and that's what it is turning out to be.
