RMC 7.5mm Fisheye Lens For Nikon 1

Pros: the 7.5mm is a quality manual focus lens...offering a unique perspective with a rectilinear image...the price is right, the quality is very good...it has a native CX mount for the Nikon 1...it looks good on the camera and handles well
Cons: ...presently, you must shoot manual mode only on the Nikon 1, as other modes will not recognize the mounted lens, an issue that probably could be resolved with a firmware upgrade...but in the meantime...manual only and the Nikon 1 series is clumsy in manual mode aperture/shutter/iso setting... you must set the various settings and take a test shot and then reset to your liking...a bit of a burden but it is a unique lens and perspective...not an action lens but still a great tool
Other Comments: ...at the current price I would buy the lens again...for an enthusiast that 'likes to stir their own' its a fun, quality lens...for a family man wanting to shoot family portraits...maybe NOT

Pros: Price
Good hyperfocus
Cons: Severe chromatic distortion
Only shoots in manual at 100 iso, at tiny aperture
Other Comments: I have used the Rokinon fisheye on micro four thirds and i love it. Sharp, very wide, nice and bright.
