Pros: Easy to connect with provided speaker cables, wireless rear speaker module and universal remote
Cons: It's not a real home theater system. It have amplified audio through the DVD player but does not have any HDMI inputs or HD component inputs so you can't connect any additional video source to the system and therefore in my opinion it not a true home theater. You have to hook up your Satellite received to your TV with HDMI cable and connect a toslink cable from your receiver to this unit to play the sound through the system. But the bad part is that you have to switch audio input when playing your Satellite receiver and switch again to HDMI output to play DVD which in my opinion sucks. The system should have at least one HDMI input or HD component input to be called a home theater system.
Other Comments: If you are looking for a simple Blu Ray DVD player with decent audio amp and speakers than this will do the job but if you are looking for a true home entertainment system and connect all your other equipment with one single HDMI output to your TV, you will be very disappointed as I have been.
