Poor reliability

Other Comments: My 46" Samsung LCD died after less than 3 years of service. I have identified the problem part but Samsung states they will only sell me the part with a new $930 LCD display. Since I can buy a new Sony for this amount I will be doing that instead. Before buying Samsung check the internet regarding their reliability and see what you find. At a minimum, plan on buying an extended warranty if you decide you have to have a Samsung
