Standard picture is awesome. Interfacing remote with Samsung bluray was practically automatic. Only negative is the glass screen. It reflects like a mirror if bright room light or window is in the right position. It helps to swivel left or right..wide viewing angle makes it possible. No problems as of yet! HD programming looks phenomenal! Plasma is the way to go and 3D works flawlessly! I consider myself fairly savvy when it comes to electronics and a harsh critic... As far as the report of the brightness adjustment pulsing I have only noticed one instance of this and it was while I was setting everything up and fine tuning picture. Awesome deal! Awesome TV!
