Pros: Awesome picture! I mean really awesome! It compares to the Pioneer Kuro Elite!
Cons: Television won't come on as requested, either by remote or the toggle switch on the set. So frustrating. Sometimes it comes on and sometimes it takes an hour to get it to come on. There seems to be a whole lot of folks out there that are having the same problem so I would suggest to any buyers of Samsung that they purchase the extended warranty.
Other Comments: From much perusal on the web and talking to an authorized Samsung technician, this is a fairly common problem involving the Y main, and upper and lower Y buffer boards. The estimate for this fix is $800! And there is only a 90 day warranty on that!! Good grief, I spent nearly $ 3,500 for this thing...
And no, I would not recommend this to a friend!
