By Kathy Luiz on February 05, 2011 Review submitted for Samsung SL605 Durable Anti-Scratch Digital Camera (Silver) (SAMSL605S) Pros: Nice Body Color, Good Image Stabilization, Short Lag Time, Good in Low Light, Easy To Use, Many creative settings, Long Battery life, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact, Unique beauty mode, Great Zoom, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Zoom rangeperformance, Good Image Quality Cons: None Other Comments: Beauty portrait feature allows for 6 different levels of retouch, either before or after, amazing results. Zoomed pictures are clear and crisp. Excellent program mode, love all the creative settings, allowing for manual control over focus, color saturation,contrast,tone,brightness, as well as preselected effects. It also allows you to adjust flash level which is mostly seen in higher end cameras. The larger shutter button is a plus. Also has a 1MP setting that actually takes clear pics for internet upload, most other models 3MP is the lowest you can go. Very stylish, I have the aqua body. Only feature I'd like to see would be a wheel for fast access to various different scene modes, and I'd prefer the menue controls to be in a contrast color rather than black, hard to see.
