Pros: The M7 wireless speaker appears quite mysterious at first glance. No remote control, no appearance settings and seems difficult to pair. I paired the M7 with my Samsung HU 9000 after some frustrating moment to figure how wireless connectivity is done. I like the sound, allows me to hear soft spoken dialogue and the sounds does fill the bedroom in horizontal position.
The Samsung HU 9000 speakers turn off in favor of the M7; the TV remotes control the M7 volume.
Cons: The M7 runs hot when used horizontally, the bottom gets overheated, but unsure if this is normal or not. When the speaker stand vertically overheating is not an issue but the sound goes from 2 channels (horizontal) to mono (vertical).
Samsung was more interested that the purchased was from an authorized seller than really resolving the problem. After emailing them purchase receipt, their tech support never called me back as “promised” regarding the overheating concern.
Other Comments: For my purpose it works well. Love the wireless connectivity to TV. I can’t evaluate M7 usage with multi room music streaming, Hub or other devices via Bluetooth app connectivity since I have not used for those purposes.
The M7 was an included item as part of my Samsung HU 9000 purchased. Save having to spend money on a Sonos playbar. Buydig kept me informed via email throughout the purchase, very reliable and no nonsense online retailer.
