With large file setting, and at 8 frames per second, I can hold the shutter button down for 10-12 seconds of action and the card nearly instantly writes. It is important to format the card in your camera, prior to shooting. I re-format after downloading my files - which I believe helps maintain the incredible write speed of 90 MB/second.
I would highly recommend this Sandisk car without reservation.
