I have had a Seagate Free Agent for my desktop for several years and use it to do backups. It has performed flawlessly. Even though I don't have a 3.0 USB port on my laptop, this drive still preforms backups at a respectable speed. Easy to use, plug-and-play simplicity. I consider this to be a great purchase.
