Pros: Pretty seamless integration with my router and internet TV. I am the nerdy type but was surprised how easy it was for anyone to install.
Cons: Requires a CAT5 cable connection to the WiFi router in order to pick up WiFi connection.

Pros: Easy to set up and use even for a computer-illiterate person, like myself. I love to be able to share with my family and friends without feeling that strangers are watching over my files. The capability of both android and iphones both being able to access the files is such a great plus as well. And the quality of Seagate is always top-of-the-line. The video files stream beautifully and the free app is so easy to use.
Cons: I really wish that the files were a little easier to manage on my desktop - but it might be that I am just not knowledgeable about moving them around as most people.
Other Comments: Buydig delivered it incredibly fast and at such a wonderful price. I have never had a bad experience with this company - on the contrary, it is a pleasure to do business with them. I am pretty sure that I will be purchasing other units for presents.

Pros: Easy to install. Holds lots of stuff.
Cons: Turns on at any time. No previewing or thumbnails. Bought this to hold and deliver family media to our devices and Roku. Most vids play 5sec at a time. Very frustrating. I have not hacked the unit yet, but it might help.
Other Comments: If you want a family streaming media server this one is not there yet.

Pros: The connection to Seagate Central Web controls works great the first time out of the box. The multi-user setup is relatively easy. It works with Time Machine!!
Cons: The Seagate Central Web link does not work after changing the IP address to a fixed one on the network. A direct link to the IP address does get you there though. The sharing data with mobile devices only works with the common Public area. Not with specific user areas. The mobile app is very basic and close to useless with any large number of photos.

Pros: Easily backup all PC's, Laptop's, Tablets, and Phone's and still have room for all my music and some videos. Easily link to Samsung TV's.
Cons: My wife complains it is loud. Right now it is on her desk in the home office.
Other Comments: I may buy more if they stay at this price and archive all of my videos. If you have a windows phone the app you need is made by Tappin , not Seagate.
