Other Comments: I'm using this mic on a Sony NEX 7 camera. The built in stereo mic on the camera works pretty good, but it amplifies any noise created by any touching of the camera while recording, including breathing if the EVF is being used. The other downside is when using the internal mic in breezy conditions, even the slightest breeze will produce an unpleasant buffing sound. The external mic handles these conditions very well, and the added adjustability from 90 to 120 degree pickup is a nice touch. In my experience, this is a no-brainer for this camera and conditions, the price is fair as well.
