In love again

S16 Studio Industrial-Grade True Straight Stitch Only Sewing & Quilting Machine

Pros: Love the speed as well as the ease of running this machine. The threading is a little different from even other Singers and there was a small learning curve to get the bobbin back in easily, but it was automatic within a few days.
It sews one of those straight, straight stiches like the Featherweight and it starts and ends on several layers of fabric without squeezing lower layers ahead of the needle (No wonder my collar stand edges just haven't worked - but they are smooth and perfect now.) I also like being able to wind a bobbin without unthreading the sewing thread or moving the fabric and the easy reverse and automatic cutting.
Did I say I am in love with this machine?
Cons: Only that it took me so long to buy this machine.
Other Comments: Very good service from beachcamera, too. And appreciated paying with PayPal!
