The backup battery is OK because I'm able to unplug the clock and it keeps the time. The alarm clock is easy to operate. The controls are clear and well organized. I wish the alarm was a little louder. There is not much difference between the low and high settings. Also, I though the alarm would get progressively louder but it doesn't.
