SAL1650 - 16-50mm f/2.8 Standard Zoom A-Mount Lens
(SNSAL1650)
Pros: Weather sealed, fast auto focus, super sharp from center to corners@35-50mm f4-5.6, color and contrast well balanced. Focus ring is near perfect. Has a quality feel.
Cons: Heavy, soft corners and strong distortion under 35mm.
Other Comments: I've tried CZ 24-70 which is very sharp. Tamron 17-50 also good but just not the same. Sigma 18-35 Awesome!! Different use. However this focal length is very useful. I kept switching back to it on a A77II, A77I, and an A57. Just a great kit lens.This is my 2nd one. Best kit Sony has put out for aps-c. Less length than CZ16-80 but way sharper.
