  Sony Innovation By suavin6 on December 30, 2011 Review submitted for Sony 16 GB Tablet S with Wifi (SNSGPT111USS) Pros: Web Browsing, Strong Construction, TV AV Remote Control, Screen, Excellent Video Playback, WiFi, App Availablity, Fast Processor, Operating System, Playstation Games, Very Light Cons: No HDMI Other Comments: Adobe Flash plays like on desktop. Can handle multiple treads at one time without too much problem. I had the thrive...big disappointment nothing worked to specs. Sony tablet is HD on point; and the Remote Control for my TV...was a snap. Even had settings for my old Sherwood AV...a plus a lost the remote !!!! Nuff said !! I took all day reviewing tablets...Sony won by Innovation alone... Good job Sony... thanks Beach Camera for the bundle...only thing missing was the case.Sony vs Apple... Android Free Market... I the universal controller is pretty cool too. I like to mess with my friend's tv and they think there is a ghost in the house. I primary use it for note taking in class because I wanted to get rid of my ten pound laptop. The this tablet is extremely light by the way. Office Suite Pro is an excellent app for taking notes. I also use it for gaming and everything works flawlessly as expected. Cons: I bought the 16 gb model but only 9gb are available to use because they use the other 9 to run the tabet. I am sure every other tablets do this as well but just something to keep in the back of your mind, I certainly didn't know or I would have bought the 32 gb instead. Live wallpapers tend to make my tablet lag a little bit because I have a million apps and widgets on my home page. Then again I rarely use live wallpaper anyways. The battery life is supposedly shorter than the other big name tablets like the iPad, and Samsung Galaxy, and Motorolla Xoom but I hardly notice the difference. Maybe because I rarely watch videos on here. But overall a great product and my only complaint is I wished they make us more aware that we are only getting 9gb instead of 16. Little bit less with battery life as compared with other tablets. Everything else is so cool. I liked it ergonomic design a lot.
