Other Comments: I bought them for my laptop but a few weeks later I bought a new flat screen TV and the TV needed the audio boost more than the laptop so now the only problem I have is with my wife who keeps asking me if I really need all that bass. I made a forty foot cable and connected my laptop to the second input so now my laptop is kicking out the Db's again. The input switching button on the remote is great for easily switching between the two sources. This speaker set really does kick it out and with very little distortion. I'm thinking about buying another set to use with my MP3 player or laptop out on the patio. The only con I can think of is the speaker in the main unit is behind the control panel. If you use the panel for a carrying handle you might damage the speaker so it could use a protective grill on it to prevent accidental damage.
