Having a backup battery is really useful when you can't charge it.Luckily I got one 1/2 price on Toshiba site. I'm enjoying mine & am happy with my choice. It's good for pretty much everything - browsing the Internet, reading e-mails and books, watching movies and Youtube, listening MP3 music, audiobooks and podcasts, video-messaging with your friends, and, of course, playing games. Good thing is that the most of Android apps are free - you simply need to find ones, that would be right for you. I recommend to read user reviews before installing any. My own set of applications, installed from Android Market, includes MX Video Player, Cool Reader, BeyondPod, Skype, Barcode reader, Flashlight, and Andry Birds game :)). The rest (photo gallery, calendar, music player, etc.) come with standard Android. If you plan to type a lot, I would recommend to get external Bluetooth keyboard - it's much easier to use it, rather than on-screen one. Once I determined it wasn't a connection problem between the seat and keyboard, I contacted Beach Camera and they handled the RMA quickly and professionally. They paid the shipping both ways via Fedex and my new unit works perfectly. Can watch Youtube vidos and strangely also The WB but not Hulu. Sound is strong but much better with earphones.
