Other Comments: I bought this camcorder to replace an aging Sony DSC that . when new, was four times the cost. To say I am pleased would be an understatement. The picture quality is excellent. The view screen is easy to see even in bright sunlight and it is well balanced. I did buy a 16GB memory upgrade as the built in memory was only good for a couple minutes of video. But the battery life is terrific. No regrets on this one.

So far, I'm very pleased with the way it handles and the quality of the photos and videos. It will never replace a full size hand held HD camcorder...but it wasn't designed for that. But I think it performs as well or better than the other flip cameras out there...especially for the price.

Other Comments: I wanted a small camera that I could have with me just for impromptu usage. The video looks ok if you are not moving or if its on the tripod. As soon as you start moving then it gets jumpy. The image stabilation doesnt seem to do a very good job. The worst issue is the audio. Unless the subject is literally a foot away from the mic then you cant hear it at all. I thought maybe it was defective so I exchanged it for another one and it was the same exact issue so I think the bad audio is just how the cameras are.
