What I like about it is the intermediate size -- 13.3" screen, lightweight, good battery life. It basically is the best combination of those qualities at a very reasonable price. I travel a lot, and lugging a 5 lb 14" unit that only got 3-4 hours of battery is not pleasant; likewise a netbook is totally inadequate. I don't have the $2000+ needed for a high end unit like a 12" Fujitsu or Vaio -- so this is the next best thing. Overall the quality is good. The screen is nice, bigger and better than the netbooks, adequate graphics (I am not a gamer, so speed is not an issue). Processor speed is very good, and the battery life is surprising -- I have gotten 8 hours on a charge, which is great for long flights. Naturally there are tradeoffs. The speakers are loud but audio quality is terrible. The keyboard has taken some adjustment. I seem to struggle with the shift keys on both sides, and it would be nice to have a more accessible audio adjustment. I also do not like the loud click of the touch pad -- in a quiet room it can be very annoying, so I almost have to go with an external mouse. But all in all it is a very good laptop. I would recommend it to those who travel and need something lightweight but full power, and do not want to shell out $2000+ for the super high end 12" alternatives.
