Verified Purchase Review submitted for Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 Zoom Lens for Canon Mounts (TM150600VCCN) Pros: Sharp, even at 600mm. I've only owned it for 2 weeks, but it looks to be very well made and built to last. The image stabilization seems to work flawlessly in overcast daylight and brighter. A friend noted that its images were on a par with his vastly more expensive Canon L 200-400mm. Cons: Autofocus is sometimes very confused and requires time consuming retries during which you subject might have vanished. The lens is a bit heavy (2kg, 4.4 pounds) The hood and lens cap are a bit tricky to install, but after a while one learns to manipulate them without error. Other Comments: Bang for the buck, this lens is very hard to beat. The photos attached to this review are all crops from the center of the frame at 600mm, and then minified to fit on your screen. Excellent for sports and wildlife. Let me say, I am truly impressed with the quality and speed of this lens. I shoot Canon, and have a 600 prime lens. Don't get me wrong, this isn't the quality of my Canons, but for the money, and the ability to zoom, this is one amazing value in my mind! Cons: Suffers some in image quality, compared to high dollar lenses. Other Comments: Buy it! I was very skeptical about this lens, but I am very impressed with it!
