70-300mm f/4-5.6 DI LD Macro Lens f/ Nikon AF w/ Built-in Motor - OPEN BOX
(TM70300DINA2OB)
Pros: Lightweight, Low Cost, Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable
Cons: Poor in Low Light
Other Comments: Not a bad lens, especially for the money, but the macro function only works in the range of 180-300mm. Throughout the rest of the range you have to shoot from a longer distance, so there is a gap in the field of view from the regular to macro range. I probably wouldn't have purchased it if I had known this.
Still, the image quality is above average for a consumer lens of this build and the price is rediculously low. I believe this is discontinued but can still be found new and refurbished.
