I'm quite pleased with the results of the Tamron lens at this time. The auto focus is a bit slow if you're looking to focus on something moving at a fast speed. The macro works best when used in the manual mode. I got a bit frustrated waiting for the auto focus to kick in the auto focus mode. I read in other reviews about the focusing being quite noisy. I haven't ready noticed the noise. Overall, for the price I would definitely recommend this lens. I have enclosed two photos.
