Review submitted for Tamron 70-300mm 1:2 F/4-5.6 DI LD Macro For Pentax AF With 6-Year USA Warranty (TM70300DIPA)
Pros: Strong Construction, Consistent Output, Durable
Cons:
Other Comments: This lens fits my needs perfectly! We spend the most time outdoors in wet conditions and this rugged lens takes great photos for a very fair price. It was a replacement for tamron lens that I purchased in 1992! (still works perfectly just need more features)

3 out of 5 stars   My Review of the Tamron 70-300mm 1:2 F/4

Review submitted for Tamron 70-300mm 1:2 F/4-5.6 DI LD Macro For Pentax AF With 6-Year USA Warranty (TM70300DIPA)
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Rugged, Consistent Output
Cons: Slow Focus
Other Comments: This lens was purchased for my personal use and I use a Pentax K-7. I'm quite pleased with the results of the Tamron lens at this time. The auto focus is a bit slow if you're looking to focus on something moving at a fast speed. The macro works best when used in the manual mode. I got a bit frustrated waiting for the auto focus to kick in the auto focus mode. I read in other reviews about the focusing being quite noisy. I haven't ready noticed the noise. Overall, for the price I would definitely recommend this lens. I have enclosed two photos.

Review submitted for Tamron 70-300mm 1:2 F/4-5.6 DI LD Macro For Pentax AF With 6-Year USA Warranty (TM70300DIPA)
Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable
Cons:
Other Comments: The lens is just what I had hoped for. It is fast, quiet, performs well, adds a bit more distance to my range and was very reasonably priced. I was especially pleased at the macro capability. Since I was just looking for a bit more range, the macro was a bonus.
