5 out of 5 stars   Wacom Intuos Pro - gold standard of tablets
December 17, 2016
Verified Purchase
Review submitted for Wacom Intuos Pro Pen & Touch Tablet Small (PTH451) Manufacturer Refurbished (WCUPTH451RB)
Pros: Solid refurb, complete with Wifi and new battery.
Cons: Wacom's support less than robust and software add-ons are worthless.
Other Comments: Purchased this tablet after weighing the offerings from various vendors. Wacom are really the premier tablets in the market place and it's not worth the time buying a tablet from a vendor who is unlikely to offer updated drivers or one which has sub-optimal functionality.

By Mike M. on September 07, 2015
Review submitted for Wacom Intuos4 - Extra Large Pen Tablet Factory Refurbished 1 Year Warranty (WCPTK1240)
Pros: I purchased the extra large pen tablet primarily as a tool to leverage Photoshop and other photo editing applications, but it has become an integral part of my desktop leveraging and extending the capabilities of nearly all my computer applications. A very well thought out and user friendly tablet with both the pen and mouse.

Review submitted for Wacom Intuos Pro Pen & Touch Tablet Medium PTH651 (WCPTH651)
Pros: Seamless drawing experience. Large surface Acts like a giant trackpad Wireless capability
Cons: There is really no cons. You can't compare a non-pro tablet that is cheaper with this professional grade tablet. You get what you paid for. I have happily put my mouse into the drawer and started using this tablet for all my computer works.

Review submitted for Wacom Intuos5 - Large Pen Tablet PTH850 (WCPTH850)
Pros: Precise, Large
Cons: Nothing
Other Comments: This tablet is wonderful and exceeds all expectations. I can't think of anything that would make it any better. I wanted the large and was hesitant because of the cost but I'm very glad I got it. Be prepared for it to use up a lot of your desk space. I would just get it and treat yourself.

Review submitted for Wacom Intuos5 - Large Pen Tablet PTH850 (WCPTH850)
Pros: Touch Gestures, Tracking
Cons: Freebie Software Install
Other Comments: Pros: Tracking is incredible. I can write as fast as I can and it keeps up no problem. I can even (unfortunately) see the same little wisps of lines digitally as I do when with a real pencil I don't lift the tip completely before moving to a new letter. (Time to improve my handwriting.) Pressure sensitivity is smooth. Pen is comfortable to hold. I bought it for the pen input and didn't even really care about touch, but the touch is great as well. Two finger pan is SO handy. You can also pinch-zoom on Android emulators/VMs so you can finally see the entire Angry Birds level :D. The size of this thing is great too. It's active area is almost as large as my screen giving me an almost 1:1 ratio. The build quality is great and the device feels solid. Installation of the DEVICE was very easy, basically one-click. (Free software was a bit more complicated, see below.) Included Photoshop Elements software is quite capable and does work with the pressure sensitivity. Just remember to set the software in Advanced Mode or else it's a glorified cropping tool. This device is even upgradeable to wireless if you buy the extra kit which includes a battery and a transmitter/receiver. This device has far exceeded my expectations and I think it was at a really good price. Cons: The process of finding and downloading the freebie software was a bit cumbersome. You had to go to some minimalist sites and enter your included redemption code. It was a bit unnerving to read basically that if you don't get all the downloads you want properly at this time you're out of luck. Everything did work though, but the process is a bit unpolished. Bezel outside of the active area could be smaller, BUT this might be less comfortable for drawing. Tracking on the TOUCH is not quite as good as some better laptop trackpads, BUT if you need more precision just pick up your pen. Other Thoughts: I recommend checking the setting for "Force Proportions" in the Mapping tab of the pen options. That way if you draw circles on the tablet they will show as such on the screen. PC Info: Intel Core2 Quad @ 3GHz, 8GB Ram, Win7 Pro x64, SSD.

Review submitted for Wacom Intuos 5 - Medium Pen Tablet PTH650 (WCPTH650)
Pros: Size features
Cons: Battery life
Other Comments: The Intuos5 M is a great upgrade from my Intuos 3 small. I love the new features and the size. The touch pad is very intuitive and responsive with wonderful customizability. The perfect companion to Lightroom and Photoshop. I would have liked the wireless battery to have better performance (6hrs per charge), but not that big of a deal. Overall, I am very happy with the product and the service from Buydig. Easy order process and fast delivery. I've been buying from them for years and have been very happy so far. Buydig is always my first choice for my photography related items... Keep up the good work!!!

Review submitted for Wacom Intuos 5 - Medium Pen Tablet PTH650 (WCPTH650)
Pros: Wireless Option Is Nice, Nice design, Great sensitivity
Cons: Wears Out Tips Quickly, Again Tip Wear Too Much
Other Comments: Very good product, big upgrade from a very old Graphire 3. Sensitivity is awesome, look and feel is really nice. Must have if you are a heavy Photoshop user or scupting user (zbrush/mudbox). No real issues with drivers so far (Win7 64bit), except one program I have if it crashes I think it causes the Wacom driver to stop working. I have to restart the system service. I'm not sure I can blame Wacom for that since the other program is the one crashing. Biggest con... it wears through the nibs crazy fast. Starting on the intous4 they changed to a different surface to give the feel of paper, this ofcourse being rougher causes nibs to wear quickly. If you are heavy user you can expect to be replacing nibs every couple of weeks. I did adjust the pressure, but there is a point where I don't want it to be too sensitive just so I can save nibs. Luckily they are fairly cheap on ebay. Probably not a worthwhile upgrade if you already have the intous4, but any version before that its worth it.
