  Working great, so far! By Jim on June 03, 2014 Review submitted for WD 2 TB My Book Live Personal Cloud Storage - OPEN BOX (WDBACG0020HCHOB) Pros: + Easy to set up with the included software. + Easy access to the files from all the computers on my home network. + File transfer is fast enough for my needs. + Easy to update the system software through the web page for my unit. + Small footprint, and runs cool so far. Cons: - Convoluted structure for creating users and "shares" (the folders that data is stored in). It took me some trial and error to learn that I cannot simply copy or create a folder to the unit. Instead, I must open the web interface, and assign permissions to the new folder I want to create. After I have a folder in the unit, it is easy for all authorized users to create and manage sub-folders and the data in them. - Must right click the task bar icon and select shut down (to turn the unit off), then wait a minute or so before it goes silent. Other Comments: I keep this powered down except when I want to share folders across my home network. I also power this through my UPS to prevent power problems from shutting it down improperly. By providing power to this only when a user needs it, I hope to keep it cool for longer life. I have had this for only a week. I hope I will still like it as much a year from now!   completely satisfied By nickname on May 07, 2014 Review submitted for WD 2 TB My Book Live Personal Cloud Storage - OPEN BOX (WDBACG0020HCHOB) Pros: great "open box" item. @ the time of purchase, did not know what "cloud storage" was. Hooked up thru the cable for my wifi router. Very nice option if you are running low on USB ports. Cons: did not know that it hooked up, without having a wifi computer, thru the jack for the wifi router on my system.
