Verified Purchase Review submitted for Western Digital My Passport Studio 2 TB FireWire 800 high capacity portable hard drive (WDBU4M0020BBK) Pros: No Power Lead, Size, Build Quality Cons: No on-off switch Other Comments: I use this product with my iMac – specifically, with Time Machine to keep backups of my hard drive. It was a replacement for an Omega drive that failed after one year. This one is so much better... the all-metal casing is pure quality, and looks very nice with its black/silver colouring. The previous Omega drive (also 2 TB) needed a separate power supply to work and was over twice the size. This drive is small and sturdy, and feels like it will last a very long time. The only negative is that I would have liked a little on/off switch so that I don't have to keep unplugging the cable when I'm not using it.
