Cool Touch 4-Slice Black Toaster

Pros: Does a great job!
Cons: The toaster slots, which go vertically from front to back, are a little short for the sourdough bread I use. (I have to cut each slice in half and use all four slots). I would prefer the slots go horizontally from front to back. The way the toaster is made, each of the four slots is only 1-1/2 x 5-3/4, which is too short for the sourdough bread I use.
Other Comments: I could possibly cut the bread a little so that it would fit in only two slots, thus saving the energy cost of running all four slots.
