Pros: Exactly what I needed after I broke the one I had on my lens. Very cheap insurance for excellent protection for an expensive lens.
Cons: The only con is not keeping a UV protective filter on all your lens unless you don't use your cameras, then there's no need to have them.
Other Comments: Beach Camera is by far the best place to go for such essential camera supplies.

Other Comments: I am using this filter as a lens cover on a Fujifilm HS10 camera. I researched UV lenses by numerous manufacturers from cheap to extremely expensive. Turned out that choosing a lens by cost or brand was a "shot in the dark". So I purchased this inexpensive lens and figured that if it degraded my photos I would just throw it away and try another brand. Amazingly, this lens works great for me, photos look very good even when displayed on a 20" computer screen. This is a well made lens and aluminum frame.
