Other Comments: This item was used in a recent canoe trip,I had to use it on two occassions, it worked great! The only possible negative would be if you needed a heavier application perhaps in strong wind or water current, the light weight nature of the throw bag may not be sufficient. I endorse this item, esp. for the price.

Pros: Best price I've seen, Great Floatation, Heavy Bag Fabric, Handy Slender Design, Versatile Buckle Attach, Fast Deploying Rope

Other Comments: I bought this throw bag becuase of price and was really surprised at how well it was made and how well it worked. I used it on my 12' Avon on a whitewater trip down Gates of Lodore in Utah. Practiced with the bag at camp one night and the thin, slick rope deploys really good from the heavy duty, slendor bag. The buckle attachment makes it easy to mount/attach in a variety of places and allows easy access in an emercency. The rope deploys easily to the full 50' when thrown and the bag has great floatation at the end of the rope to keep it visible and 'grabbable' in the whitewater. I am very pleased with it. I think it is better than the $45 bag I bought from NRS. The rope is lighter duty, but the bag is easier to stow and throw overall.
