Pros: Makes a great cup of coffee similar to the old Silex coffee pots.
Cons: The advertised 8 cups is very light and must be based on a very small cup. I wish they had a larger pot for sale. The handle doe get very hot and you will need a pot holder.
Other Comments: I the pot were bigger it may help keep the handle cooler.

Pros: 1) Fast brewing. 2) Easy to use. 3) Easy clean-up 4) Well constructed.
Cons: 1) Must tend during the entire brewing process and time the brew. 2) Fragile.
Other Comments: Vacuum coffee brewing simply stated, makes the best coffee. We've been brewing that way for years. This unit was purchased to replace our Bodum Electric Santos coffee maker. It's not as convenient as the electric since it has to be monitored but the coffee is every bit as good.
