When I first got them, I kept taking them off to make sure my speakers weren't running at the same time because the sound was so clear, it didn't sound like it was coming from the headphones. The bass is also very good for this level of headphones. The construction seems very good; heavy wire, good strain relief at the ends, no volume control (which is the first thing to fail). I haven't had them long, but I expect them to last well. The comfort is fairly good, but not great. They are definitely capable of making ears sore after a while.
