Other Comments: Have only used this tripod a few times. I have put a Canon 5D with 24-70 2.8 lens on it with a Gitzo G1177M head and it is very solid. Bought this to reduce weight as my old tripod was almost 6 pounds. I haven't verified the weight yet, but it is much lighter. I had to give up a little height to get the weight, but this is great. Not sure why I am writing a review as these are being replaced with new models, but if you have a chance, grab one of these before the deal is gone!
