I opened the package and put the Lens on my Camera right away. Just in time to capture the very first steps my Great Granddaughter. Indoors without the need for any extra lighting I was able to record the first time she stood up in the middle of the floor without any help and took her very first 3 steps, before returning to her rapid crawl! But I captured her first steps! Perfect Lens for a Perfect time. This is the perfect Lens for crop sensor camera, the conversion is 1.6 times the 35MM, making this Lens effectivly 56MM! Prime lens give you the best color and contrast but not neccessary the sharpest image. At f/2 it give you great color,contrast and low chromatic. This lens is light, plasticky, loud on focus (2010's standard) but it is pretty quick and very accurate. I'm replacing my Canon 17~40 f/2 L lens with 24mm and this 35mm prime.
