Review submitted for Canon EF 85mm F/1.2L II USM Telephoto Lens (CN8512LII)
Pros: Durable, Rugged, Strong Construction, Unbelievably Sharp, Buttery Smooth Bokeh, Consistent Output
Cons: Caution Changing Lens, Heavy But Short Is A Plus, Pricey
Other Comments: Results of the images show the pros outweigh the cons. If you want to take really fine portraits, this fast and sharp lens makes it a whole lot easier.

Review submitted for Canon EF 85mm F/1.2L II USM Telephoto Lens (CN8512LII)
Pros: Nice Bokeh, Easily Interchangeable, Durable, Consistent Output, Strong Construction
Cons:
Other Comments: If you want the best, buy this lens. Most people don't really need it....and to be quite honest I don't REALLY NEED this lens, but, I do enjoy shooting it and prefer it over the 1.8 and Sigma 1.4. So, L is for Luxory, and that's what this lens is all about.

Review submitted for Canon EF 85mm F/1.2L II USM Telephoto Lens (CN8512LII)
Pros: Strong Construction, Nice Bokeh, Durable
Cons: Slow Focus, Tough To Attach, Heavy
Other Comments: After upgrading to 5D2, I finally decided to pull the trigger on this lens. Sure the price is high, so it took me a while, but I wasn't disappointed. First, this lens is tough to mount, so you have to be careful. The rear element is REALLY on the same level as the metal mount. One shake, and you could scratch it. So this is not the lens to take on/off in a hurry. Also, it's more than 2lbs. That's twice as much as my camera! And, the AF is very slow. We're talking about nifty-fifty slow! But after taking the few pictures with this lens, it completely blew me off. Forget about that I've said above. When taking photos with f/1.2 it's a hit or miss, so it takes some time to get used to. Focus recompose doesn't work, and most of the photos will be blurry. Just use the AF points set on the camera body (might have to move them around). I get many keepers now, after 2 weeks of playing with it. The images that you get are unbelievable. Super shallow depth of field brings up the WOW effect that I could never reproduce with f/1.8 lens. This is my standard walk-around lens now. The weight doesn't bother me anymore, when I know that I'll get some stunning photos out of it. The AF speed also doesn't bother me, and I learned a few tricks to even use it for sorts photography. This is not the 135L AF speed, but if you preset at a certain distance, the new AF on MKII version doesn't hunt to infinity anymore. Instead, it'll relatively quickly focus on the near-by target. Overall, I cannot praise this lens enough. Simply 10/10, and worth every dollar!
