Absolutely new looking except for smudge on lens (which came completely off). Overall, the SX130 is exactly as expected. Great image stabilization, right size and weight to use 1-handed, pix seem fine, lots of controls, and all important ones are easy to get to and change. Very happy with purchase. Cons? 1. the infrared sensor light is right where you might place your left index finger. So until you get used to it, you end up blocking the light (and there focussing is slower or sometimes not at all). 2. It's really, really sensitive to good rechargeable batteries. Had several that charged fine, looked great on a battery meter, and produced the "low battery" warning. Found out I had a capacity problem on many of my batteries. Put in a new set, and got over 400 pictures. This is frustrating because the same "bad" batteries work fine in my GPS and in my older Olympus SP510 super-zoom. 3. the manual focus dial is a pain to use - it's very easy to press one of the quick controls while turning the dial.
