Other Comments: We love Cobra radar detectors, regardless. We do like this detector, although, it is a bit different from an earlier one we purchased that actually "speaks" to you the alert. Example, the radar says "X alert." This one just beeps, so you tend to look at the radar everytime. Other than that, it does not give off that many false reports. As much as any other detector that we have used. We gifted three of these for Christmas!

Other Comments: This is a decent radar detector, BUT it is very sensitive. I can't go by a store or shopping center without it letting me know that they have automatic doors. I like that it is fairly small and can easily be attached to the window in an area that is not easy to see from the outside. I am a little concerned about the way it picks up laser units. It seems as if the laser has to be pointed directly at the vehicle in order for it to go off. I travel extensively for my job and I have noticed that there have been numerous times where there has been a State Trooper sitting in the median using a laser and the unit did not respond. If I am in the far left lane, it does respond. If this operates on a "line of sight" principle, it may give you the idea that you are not being tracked. Despite this little "flaw", I am pretty happy with it.
