Other Comments: As I've stated in past product reviews, I never EVER leave a lens unprotected from scratches, stains etc. Beach Camera was kind enough to send this along gratis with my purchase of a Tamron Macro lens and for that I thank them. If you're gonna spend some hard earned cash on a good lens, shame on you if you don't get a filter to at least protct it, let alone something for multipurpose use like UV protection or polarizing. My lens arsenal is modest in number but all quality stuff. Not a single one is without a filter. The product sent by Beach isn't something you'd find in a pro studio but for my purposes (I take a few hundred shots a week) is is wonderful. There is no distortion or any other faults obvious to me. And as I've said, I know I'm UV and scratch safe.
