Other Comments: I have a 3.5 inch Mak-Cas from another good manufacturer. Even though the Mak-Cas provides greater magnification and is very good for land observation, this Celestron, SLT130 with its 5 inch mirror is far superior for star gazing. It makes observing so much more steady with a sense of 'being there' rather than peering through a narrow tube. The size of the unit is not awkwardly large, is solid in basic construction and finish. The included lenses are in my opinion better over-all quality than what came with my Mak-Cas. The scope is surprisingly portable and the computerized star finder is absolutely the best for accuracy and set-up simplicity. Add to this a fantastic price through BUYDIG, fine Custoimer Service [...]...hey, it's heaven!
