Other Comments: I bought this skillet after trying unsuccessfully to grill some thin-sliced steak on the grill (it kept falling through). The skillet works EXACTLY as advertised. It gives a great sizzle to meat and veggies, while allowing fatty juices to run through. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the juices also run when you put the pan on the wooden base. Was a little messy for clean-up but not a dealbreaker. Besides, Buydigg has this for half the price of the chain store, so I think it was a great bargain!
