The refurbished model from Buydig.Com works just as well as the other Cuisinart coffee maker we have AND at a significant cost saving. Cons: The refurbished model does not come with the reusable metal filter. But I had an extra one so it was not a problem. The model does come with a paper filter; if you prefer the paper filter they are easy to find in various grocery stores. We prefer the reusable filter.
