Other Comments: This coffee pot is perfect. Shame on GE for selling such a cheap coffee pot and then do not provide the opportunity to get a replacement. I will never buy another GE product.

Other Comments: I bought this because our old stainless steel carafe started to leak around the plastic rim when it was pouring. I think over time the heat just warped the plastic enough to allow coffee to seep beneath it while in the pouring position. After a couple of trips through the dishwasher, the new one (two weeks old) is starting to do the same thing. We were breaking glass carafes every couple of months and having a stainless steel carafe has saved us money. Just wish the thing wouldn't drip outside the cup while the coffee was being poured.
