Pros: Makes waffles
Cons: Seems that the sliding switch is merely a thermometer raising or lowering the temp. The waffle done light seems to be timed. I could not get any waffle properly cooked in the middle. I think perhaps a better waffle maker might have helped. Save your money and buy something BETTER! Was refurbished unit. Had scratches and such. Heats up fine just does not cook properly!!!

Pros: Unit is relatively inexpensive and work good for a year or two.
Cons: After a year or so it does not work nearly as well as when new. Batter sticks. Tried washing the grates, using oil, etc. to no avail. This is the 2nd or 3rd one we have had. We have had new and refurbished units.

Other Comments: Very quick and easy to clean up thus far. Use a premix that just adds water and you can be eating waffles in less 7 minutes. My only real concern is that the slider used for choosing the level of doneness is too loose. It doesn't click into place or have a real definitive stopping point for any level. I moved mine to "4" and a minute later, noticed it was on "3". So, be careful not to bump it once you set it.
