  Great personal laptop By Katie on September 13, 2014 Review submitted for Dell Inspiron 3000 2-in-1 11.6" Touch HD Notebook PC - Intel Pentium N3530 Processor (DELI31473750SLV) Pros: Cons: Other Comments: I needed a basic laptop to use as my home computer. I do word processing, Internet, and light photo editing. No gaming. A Chromebook seemed like a great option for me, except that I did need to be able to install a few software programs. This laptop works brilliantly for what I purchased it for. The convertibility and touch-screen were nice things to have, but not required. After using it for a couple weeks, I don't know that I would get a laptop again that didn't convert like this one. I've already used it to read an ebook, put it in tent mode to watch YouTube videos, and love the stand mode for recipes when cooking. The touchscreen is so nice and is more natural than any laptop's touchpad. Since I got this in large part to write on, I'll mention the keyboard. It's comfortable, but not the absolute best. It's a good size for me. I type fairly accurately on it. I think it's going to be a matter of getting used to it, as it tends to be with each new keyboard I get. One beef: the home and end keys need the FN button pressed first for use. I use them a lot, so it's a little inconvenient. Not a deal breaker though. I'm very happy with this purchase.   Nice little computer/tablet By M.A. on August 28, 2014 Review submitted for Dell Inspiron 3000 2-in-1 11.6" Touch HD Notebook PC - Intel Pentium N3530 Processor (DELI31473750SLV) Pros: Works well in both computer and tablet mode. Solid and reliable, with no problems at all. Dell updates were easy to download and resulted in better performance. All it takes is a little time to solve most of the problems I have seen reported in other reviews- like a weak wifi connection. A simple, quick download from the Dell official website solved it. Overall, I am pleased with this compact and portable little computer. Cons: A bit heavy for its size. The screen does not recognize handwriting or drawing, even with software designed for it.
